Agricultural Adjustment act became a law in 1933.?

Of what I remember from history cl it was not. Though it allowed the prices of farm goods to rise significantly, the method was ridiculous: the government encouraged farmers to waste their surplus products in order to increase need. For example, milk barrels by the thousand were just spilled out onto the road, and millions of surplus piglets were slaughtered. In the end, Congress declared the act unconstitutional and eliminated it.
