Tax exemptions? W-4 IT-2104?

I am a Full time Student and a Full time hourly employees that earns $14.00 Hourly. How many exemptions should I be claiming on my W-4? No one else can claim me as a dependent. Please don't advise me to claim exempt. Presently i am claiming Single 1 for my W-4 and 0 for state and local (IT-2104). I feel that I am paying too much taxes. I would rather recieve a very little refund at years end and more upfront.
