Would acidophillus potentially improve acid reflux disease?

I have just recently bought a bottle of acidohpillus because it was recommended to me by someone else who is suffering from the same problem I have. I have been on Neximum for a very long time and unfortunately, it doesn't help the situation in my case. Unlike typical people who have only heartburn from GERD, in my case, I also regurgitate large amounts of food into the mouth. I know that reglan is a last resort medicine do to theamount of side effects it has, but it is good for delayed gastric emptying, meaning it speeds up the digestive process. Anyway, would acidohillus along with a digestive aid have some benefits in helping my particular problem?
