Snakebites and braces?!?

okay so,I've wanted snakebites for like forever and just now is my mom considering letting me(i guess cas i pester her about it so much)i could be getting them for my birthday so which is in about 2 months...thing is..i have to get braces...im not sure when but it will be this year anyway.is it really bad to have a lip piercing and braces.will the orthodontist make me take them out?will they get caught in my braces?i want them so badly but i dont want to have to get them and then take them out..
