Why has New York City stopped building very high Skyscrs?

Actually, you've kinda gotten it backwards. We'd only built two in the past, the twin towers, that pasted the 1,300 foot mark. The new one and two WTC will p that mark, and there is a proposal for another, to be built at the West Side yards which will reach your set mark. So, in essence, the era of really tall buildings hasn't actually begun
